Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick (Part 1) 1972
Tο 1972 ήταν η χρονιά ο Jethro Tull (δηλαδή ο Ian Anderson και η παρέα εκείνης της στιγμής) μετά το υπέροχο "Aqualung" κυκλοφορούν το αριστουργηματικό "Thick as a brick", πιάνοντας κορυφή ποιοτικά. Απίστευτα μεστός δίσκος τόσο στιχουργικά όσο και μουσικά, υπό τον μαέστρο Ian.
Δεν υπάρχουν ξεχωριστά τραγούδια, η μουσική ξεκινάει από την αρχή του δίσκου και τελειώνει με το που τελειώνει η πλευρά. Το ίδιο συμβαίνει και στην δεύτερη πλευρά του δίσκου.
Θα απολαύσουμε αρχικά την πρώτη πλευρά.
Τα λόγια είναι περιττά.
Αξίζει να ακουστεί μέχρι το τελευταίο δευτερόλεπτο.

and contemplates the milking girl whose offer is his need.
The young men of the household have
all gone into service and
are not to be expected for a year.
The innocent young master -- thoughts moving ever faster --
has formed the plan to change the man he seems.
And the poet sheaths his pen while the soldier lifts his sword.
And the oldest of the family is moving with authority.
Coming from across the sea, he challenges the son who puts him to the run.
What do you do when
the old man's gone -- do you want to be him? And
your real self sings the song.
Do you want to free him?
No one to help you get up steam --
and the whirlpool turns you `way off-beam.

Απο τα πιο γνωστα παραδοσιακα Ναπολιτανικα τραγουδια(υπαρχουν και αλλα δεκαδες διαμαντια και πασιγνωστα), το οποιο συν τοις αλλοις χρησιμοποιειται και σαν υμνος απο τους tifosi. Κατι σαν το You ll never walk alone αλα Ιταλικα...
Απο τα πιο γνωστα παραδοσιακα Ναπολιτανικα τραγουδια(υπαρχουν και αλλα δεκαδες διαμαντια και πασιγνωστα), το οποιο συν τοις αλλοις χρησιμοποιειται και σαν υμνος απο τους tifosi. Κατι σαν το You ll never walk alone αλα Ιταλικα...

Το ξεκίνημα, όπου σταματάει ακούγοντας όλους από κάτω να τραγουδάνε, το εκπληκτικό χαμόγελο του στο 4':56"-4':59" και η τρέλα που βγάζει μετά το 6':00" και μέχρι το τέλος, το καταμαρτυρούν ολοφάνερα θαρρώ...
