Το 1971 κυκλοφόρησε το 2ο άλμπουμ των Barclay Games Harvest, ένα Βρετανικό γκρουπ που έπαιζε "Progressive rock". Από τον δίσκο αυτό το Mocking bird ήταν το πιο δημοφιλές τραγούδι τους.

To 1971 oι Μoody blues, όπως προέγραψα, κυκλοφόρησαν τον 7o δίσκο τους και έναν από τους καλύτερούς τους κατ' εμέ, με τίτλο: "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour". Έχω ήδη παραθέσει τα πρώτα δύο τραγούδια που άνοιγαν το άλμπουμ, "Procession" & "The story in your eyes". Σειρά τώρα έχει το αγαπημένο μου "My song".
Στους στίχους του τραγουδιού, σε κάποιο σημείο, αναφέρονται στην ζωή εκτός της γης ελπίζοντας ότι αυτοί θα έρθουν και θα μας βοηθήσουν να βρούμε έναν καλύτερο τόπο ζωής.
