Former Czech Republic under-21 manager Vitezslav Lavicka described Travnik as the 'team's engine'.
Meanwhile, Jablonec manager Petr Reda said of Travnik: "If you have a midfielder who is good, creative, it's all pretty. But when he does not score goals, he is half.
"Midfielders who give goals are extra valuable. And Michal can see how cool he is and he believes."
Travnik rose through the ranks at Czech First Division side Slovacko and made his professional debut for the club in March 2012.
He quickly established himself as a regular starter in the Slovacko side and in 2015, he earned a move to Jablonec.
He has since helped Jablonec reach the Czech Cup final on two occasions, qualify for the Europa League twice, as well as finishing third in the Czech League last season.
He created 11 goals last season and has continued to thrive this term. Travnik has 10 goals and 10 assists to his name but what has been most impressive has been his form in the Europa League.
In a group that also included Dynamo Kiev, Hatem Ben Arfa's Rennes and Astana, Travnik scored twice and created a further three goals.
It is this form that has seemingly brought him to the attention of some of Europe's top leagues.
Travnik also has three caps for the Czech Republic. He represented his country at every youth level - including the under-17 World Cup and the under-21 European Championships. He earned his senior debut in May of this year.
